I started out as a lawyer before training as an astrologer.

My lifelong fascination with astrology started in Summer 2001 at a residential astrology study week for absolute beginners.

I started out as a commercial lawyer. But without any real desire to join the legal profession, despite a promising start and a Law degree from Oxford University.

Over the next 20+ years, I developed a deep respect for astrology’s ancient philosophical and practical wisdom through studies with leading UK schools.

Birth charts - illuminating, nuanced, timed character maps - were the focus of my initial year-long foundation course with the Faculty of Astrological Studies, and a subsequent two-year diploma.

Numerous Centre for Psychological Astrology all-day seminars deepened my connection to astrological symbolism.

After graduating from the School of Traditional Astrology’s Practitioners Course in 2015, I became fascinated by horary: astrology for answers to burning questions. I have since studied astronomy here too.

Astrologers judge charts. Lawyers judge cases. Both apply established general principles to clients’ specific problems.

Astrology plugs the client, their problem, and the astrologer, into a bigger picture of interwoven universal and personal cycles.
